Rather, the more we make someone clear, the more he will not believe. Keep this principle: Do not try to make people clear.
If we try to make people clear, we are doing the work of Satan, as he did in the garden when he said of the fruit of the tree of knowledge, “In the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened” (Gen. God has already done all of the work. All you must do is receive, in faith, the salvation God offers (Ephesians ).
Fully trust in Jesus alone as the payment for your sins. Believe in Him, and you will not perish (John ). What Do You Believe About How People Get Saved? book God is offering you salvation as a gift. All you have to do is accept it. Jesus is the way of salvation (John ).

All of it. Trusting Jesus is meaningless without the cross. You must believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sins. 1st Corinthians teaches that the Gospel is the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.

Huyck Jr. John For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not. I say “No, but I do believe in eternal security.” Once Saved, always Saved is not biblical, but eternal security is biblical.
Is that confusing. Well, let me explain Eternal Security and Once Saved, Always Saved. Most people think that eternal security and “Once Saved, Always Saved” are the same thing.
They are not. The next step in salvation is to say things in a way that people will clearly understand them. You see people do not get saved just because they hear you speak. Hearing is involved, but that is not the complete picture of salvation. People need to hear enough information to clearly understand the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
If you are unwilling to accept the simplest answer; that people don't want to be "saved" because they don't believe the horse crap you're selling, then you might as well make up whatever answer you want. Your sin hypothesis doesn't even make sense, because from your theology, all those "sins" can be forgiven anyway.
He is not expecting you to do or say anything before you get saved. He accepts you as you are, right now today. There is nothing you can do to make God love you anymore. There is nothing you can do to make God love you any less.
There are 4 simple steps on how to get saved: Recognize that you are a sinner. Read the book of Romans, Galatians, and Ephesians.
These are epistles explaining that getting saved is not by your holiness, goodness, or sinlessness. God accepts that you are a sinner and He is glad if you accept it too. Believe that Jesus has saved and forgiven you Views: K.
So you approach him and ask. He says, “Yes,” writes your name in the Lamb’s Book of Life, and gives you a “certificate” of salvation.
If you begin to doubt whether or not you are really “saved,” you go back and replay the moment of your conversion. There are a couple problems with this. The Lamb's book of life lists those who have been (and are to be) saved. On most occasions where the Lamb’s book of life is mentioned it refers to the register of those who have been chosen.
Once you are saved you don’t do anything to stay saved. He keeps you. Ephesians 1 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, People are given a simple choice: they can believe and be baptized in order to be saved, or they can disbelieve and be condemned.
In Acts people were told to, " Repent and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins ". Perhaps you have heard suggestions that God will grant salvation to people of any and all faiths if they “did the best that they could with what they knew.” The Bible says otherwise.
“Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved,” said the apostle Peter about. These people need no “second chance” at salvation because their salvation has been secured by Christ.
He chose us, He saved us, and He will keep us saved. Nothing can separate us from Christ (Romans ). Those for whom He died will be saved because Jesus will see to it.
It's not that I agree with legalism (I don't) it's that I'm now in the mindset of following John because that's what the Lord wants us to do to the best of our individual ability.
Believe me, I know. I had to force myself to read through a lot of stuff on that site. In the end, the self-examination provided by the content was worth the flogging I had to take in my mind about my past and. Bible verses that disprove the teaching of ‘once saved, always saved’ The Bible warns against serious sins that will keep a person from entering God’s Kingdom.
(1 Corinthians 6: 9- 11; Galatians 5: 21) If salvation could not be lost, such warnings would be meaningless. It does matter greatly what you believe! Another common belief is that to be saved, we must be good people. If we try to do our best, if we don’t hurt anyone, if we help others, then we will get into heaven.
Often faith in Christ is combined with good works. If we believe in Jesus and do the best we can, the combination will get us into heaven.
“ Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household. ” (Acts ) And “ For since, in the wisdom of God, the world did not know God through wisdom, it pleased God through the folly of what we preach to save those who believe.
